The Active Texan Triathlon

We are excited to be hosting a sprint triathlon in the Bryan/College Station area benefiting the local nonprofit The First Win Foundation in honor of John Webb.

This event will be a great opportunity to get active and give back to the community. Participants will have the chance to make their way to the finish line all while raising money for a great cause. Don’t forget to check out our sponsor The Active Texan Podcast to hear great stories from active people in our community.

The race will consist of a 400m swim, 12.7 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run at Lake Walk and in the surrounding Traditions neighborhood in Bryan, Texas. This will be a great race for both seasoned triathletes and those looking to complete their first multisport race. We also have a relay option for those who want to compete, but do not (or feel they can not) complete all 3 events.

About John C. Webb Jr.

John was a pillar of our firm and the community he loved. He made those around him better, and his relentless spirit motivated every one of us to be the best we can be in every moment. John was a true leader who cared for, and got to know everyone who entered our doors, from the college student runners to the most senior attorneys. John loved his family dearly and taught us the importance of dedicating time to our families, even while endeavoring to pursue excellence in our professions. John relied upon his faith to supply the grace needed to lead ‘a life well-lived.’ One of John’s recent passions was co-founding First Win – a non-profit organization that focuses on supporting and empowering children in our community.
